Sports

Sports are the heartbeat of this growing city. People come from across the country to be a part of sporting events such as the Carolina Panthers football games. Whether it is because they are fans of the home team or the opponents, sports enthusiasts enjoy everything Charlotte has to offer in the process.

The city's location and industrial foundation makes investors take notice. Many sports stars have come from Charlotte and now sports legends are moving in, such as the National Basketball Association's Michael Jordan, who is now part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.

Charlotte is a fairly new and grossly underestimated city. In the past years, we have made a mark on America in many ways. One of our most significant defining moments was when the Panthers made it to the Super Bowl in 2005. Sports keep our active city thriving. Our sports teams bring us together and give us pride as Charlotteans.
